My 20" MRR GT-5's are rubbing!! Help!
I've been doing tons of searching and I can't find anything. I need some help. The rear tires are rubbing on hard dips when it's just me driving by myself but they rub really bad with a car full of people. (not even drivable). I can't tell where it's rubbing by looking at the fender or the tires. The friend I bought them from said they only rubbed on his car occasionally. We both have S coupes dropped on Eibachs. I have no other suspension modifications. Here are the specs. (I'm not 100% sure of these offsets but the wheels are fairly common)
Wheels: 20" MRR GT-5
Front: 20x8.5" 25+
Rear: 20x10" 30+
Tires: Falken F452
Front: 245/35/20
Rear : 285/30/20
Springs: Eibach Prokit
Front: 1.2"
Rear" 0.8"

You need to adjust the rear with more negative camber. Or possibly trim the inner fender lining off. It's likely rubbing on the outer edge of the tire making contact with the felt like inner fender liner just inside the edge of the wheel well. Check there for signs of contact. It's easier to look if you take the wheels off.
there are a few ways that might help you avoid this.
-you can get an adjustable rear camber kit and run a little more negative camber.
-trim your inner fender linings and metal brackets
-run 275/30/20 on the rears

Thanks everyone!! I took Kidcane's advice of bending back the metal piece and that did the trick!! Gotta love car-specific forums!! That noise was killin me! The metal piece had a little bit of black goop on it. I guess either the rubber was melting or that was tire shine.
thanks again guys
