LOL Yes, I am sure they are 275 Falken 452's. Here is what the 255's hankooks look like compared to the falkens......... Why stretch when you dont need to....

Looks right to me. I had the same size Falkens on a +22 and was fine. The Falkens run small and stretch well. The trade off is they suck.

True, that what I think to which is why I'm going with toyos this time around.

There is really not much wrong with Falkens, but they are a tad bit noisy. As far as grip, both Hankook and Falkens are not that great. I regret getting Hankook tires, but they seem to be the best for a moderate stretch. BUT, those bitches slip like a ****! When I had my Yoko S.drives, I swear I could not do a single burn-out, no matter how much I tried. Now with these Hankooks (even when I had the Falkens), I feel I lost so much grip that I burn tire with out even trying to lol
But Doggy, if you want ultimate stretch, go with Falkens. They give the most stretch out of any brand I have seen or tried.

Loud, hard tires. Not the best grip.

What's your tire pressure set to? I have V12's on my daily and track wheels and they perform quite well. In my MPG tests i ran with the daily set-up for a couple of weeks at 38psi and yes they do slip more, but back to normal 33-35 they work well, no slip.

Really much larger?? T1R's were my first set of tires and they still seem to have a stretch along the same lines as Falkens. Well what did you do to avoid rub? Just dial up neg camber or shave more bracket. I am thinking it is possible to get a 285 to fit as long as you have the camber right on, the drop dead on, as well as the bracket, and liner. At the same time I dont want to run stupid neg camber. I might just stick with Falken 285/30 +25 and 245/30 +20.

Ehhh I can't care less about grip. I'm so camberd that I don't have grip anyway. I'm not tracking my car or anything. So I just want a nice stretch so I can run more aggressive offsets. If I wanted performance I'd go a whole different route

So this is just a bit more. And I'm also running a 245 stretched on there. When you say it's a mild stretch, it's not lol it's a pretty good stretch. A mild stretch is a 255 or a 265 imo
can you send me or tell me where some pics of your set up is? I would really like to see what it looks like. How much camber are you runnig also?

I was convinced by my shop against stretching the tires and getting too aggressive on the setup due to all the daily driving im doing. I have 127k+ miles on the car..but maybe ill throw a camber kit and different tires when the tread wears down..

Wow those are my favorite ssr wheels ^ I call dibs when you want to sell lol, but npthigs wrong with stretching your tires. I'm stretching a 245 onto a 10.5 and I drive 2k a month average. I wouldnt recommend stretching a 225 onto a 10.5 or 11 for daily driving lol that's when it gets sketchy. As for camber wear, that's what wears your tire life down with toe wear. If your camber isn't that bad and the toe is good you'll get plenty tire life running aggressive offsets with a stretch setup. What are the specs on your wheels?

Right on! Im running 245 in the front on 9.5 and 275 in the rear on 10.5. +25 front and +30 rear. I think i might go for it next time i get tires. Ive been on these for about a week now and im pretty confident i could roll it with smaller tires.
