So I've decided to get me wheels painted all black over the winter. I know it's a while away but I'm looking for some input.

I'm trying to decide if I want the to be :

1. Gloss black lip with matt black face

2. Gloss black lip and gloss black face

3. Matt black lip and matt black face.

What do you guys think? I know at the end of the day it's me choice, but I'm curious to what my fellow members have to say.

Gloss Black Lip with Matte Black Face FTW. Having a Matte Black Lip will blend with the tires too much and will give the illusion of having thick sidewalls.

 

give us some pics! im not really a fan of black lips in general because like gamedog said it gives the illusion of a thick sidewall, although it looks good normally on white with a white pinstripe... but to choose from those options id go with gloss black lip for some definition and maybe a pin stripe but i dont really know what color combo ur going for, and yea matte black face FTMFW!!!!

 

Definatly matte black face with gloss place lip. Throw in a red ring, perfect.

my vote is from gloss/gloss but matte/gloss is ok i guess.
