I asked the shop if it would make a difference and they said no. So to prove it, I watched them intentionally move the fronts to the back and swapped sides as they were moving them from my stockers. No difference.

wait huh? i meant if you get the tpms light... and you have low pressure in 1 tire, then you'd have to check each tire... but if you hit the right one... you don't have to check all 4?

OK that is what I thought. Since our car does not say specifically which tire is low but instead that one of them is low that it should not matter that you dont put them back where they originally came from. Good to know. Thanks.

Terry...that's great info bud. Thanks a lot for that. I was getting kinda worried about getting them in the right wheel. I just hope they're compatible with Vossen wheels!

It depends on the barrel section. There is a company that also makes various adapters to get them in there. Because of the way the valves sit on my 20" DPE wheels, they drilled holes for the TPMS on the inside section to take advantage of the clearance.

Terry, thanks bud. Would you happen to know the name of that company that makes the variable sized adaptors?

^^You can also remove the sensor from the valve and strap them inside the wheel with metal straps. Thats what I finally did on my Maya's.

In short, your sensors will work fine no matter which corner you have them on. You get a low pressure icon if any ONE of the sensors picks it up, so you end up having to check all four tires anyway.
The factory service manual says the sensors have to be programmed in a certain order (FL,FR,RR and RL). And they have to stay in that order to not throw a light. They work in series.
