Sucks he turned into such a D-bag. Back when he first started doing buisness here he was great. I ordered a few things and his customer service was second to none and it was almost impossible to beat his prices. I guess he just got carried away and in over his head.

Actually one of my HID Xenon bulb that I bought from HPAutoworks went out and I contacted Andy for a replacement. He responded within a few hours with instructs and shipping address.

I shipped both bulbs (1 broken, 1 working) back to the provided address (P.O. Box) and here are the status updates:

Detailed Results:

Bullet Notice Left, December 30, 2009, 8:51 am, MESA, AZ 85274
Bullet Arrival at Post Office, December 30, 2009, 8:51 am, MESA, AZ 85202
Bullet Processed through Sort Facility, December 29, 2009, 8:33 pm, PHOENIX, AZ 85043
Bullet Processed through Sort Facility, December 28, 2009, 9:28 pm, SAN JOSE, CA 95101
Bullet Acceptance, December 28, 2009, 5:28 pm, SAN JOSE, CA 95123

The package will be hold for 15 days before being returned to me...

I guess if he doesn't pick it up by the 15th of January then I will loose the $5 bucks for shipping and the bulbs will be shipped back to me... the forum will then learn all that LIFETIME WARRANTY is BS - but I will withhold my judgment until the 15th.

Keep you guys updated.

I honestly only have good things to say. I delt with Andy on 3 different occasions and it always went smoothly and got my parts very quickly.
I ordered Eibach Pro Kit springs, Injen CAI, and Volk Formula lugs from him. He gave me the Volk lugs for 200 shipped brand new. I have seen used sets sell for more.

the problem didn't seem to be with parts he had in stock, or small purchases (springs, lugs, CAI) it was more with expensive parts that aren't in stock or had to be ordered (exhaust, bbk, wheels).

I think the small items were to lure the customers and gain their trust.

I must have been one of the luckier ones, I had a pretty good overall experience back in Jan/Feb of 09.

there were minor things (shipped me wrong wheels, didn't ship a part, etc.) but overall he took care of everything and even overnighted me a part. Too bad he went downhill because his prices were always $50+ cheaper than all others

Agree with that....bought my Tein S-Techs from him and had those in 7-10 days. The wheels and tires were a headache all together....said he could have them in 3-5 days and would ship next day. Obviously none of that ever transpired and I ended up catching him in one lie after another.

like I said I always got the small parts but big parts( I order these more than small parts) I never got them or got them 4-5 months later. I had members on this forum who waited with me. I would tell them when I order and they ask me every week when I'm getting it and I get it like 4-5 months later. Never received my wheels lol.

I made a thread and people want to bash me cause HPAUTO gave them great customer service with HID bulb capsules or small things like PIAA led. Hell I can become a vendor and get HID BULB capsules and PIAA LED too to build a good rep.

I agree, in the begging he was great. But after a while his service went down the whole. I remember him saying his paypal got hacked into, which could of been the start of a down hill slide for his business.
