Battery Problem Solved
my 07 had 35k miles on it when i got it. the battery was down 1/2 a pint of water.
not many people these days do this, but you should check the water level before you toss your battery. this should be part of your no start diagnosis/work up.
i once restored a completely dead battery in another vehicle back to 12volts just by replenishing the lost water.

My 2008 G37S Coupe (with 31,000 miles) sat idle for 2.5 days while I went out of town. Monday morning, it would not start, so I pushed it down the driveway and popped the cluch. Barely turned over for the next two days. Took it to Sewell Inifinti in Houston and mentioned TSB10-010b. New battery - NO CHARGE, plus updated ECU and Vapor Control Valve.
^^Nice. I'm going in on Tuesday morning battery has been ok since yerterday. I hope they don't give me bs. Im taking a copy of the TSB with me just in case they refuse to do it.
Are you using your G-kit that you sale? reason I ask is because I have the kit and someone on here said it was making the issue worse. They took it off and the TSB went away.
I had this problem since I bought it new in '07. I had the TSB performed and a new battery (the larger one from the M) installed and it fixed it right up. I've let it sit for up to 17 days and it started right up perfectly like it's supposed to. Before the repair it wouldn't start if left idle for only 3 or 4 days.
If you haven't had the TSB performed, do it. If you have and are still having the issue, take it back in. Just putting a new or larger battery in it will NOT permanently fix your problem, it'll just hide it for a little while.

Attached is the revised PDF from infinitihelp.com for this issue. Excuse me if it's been posted already, I didn't feel like checking every page.

I have had this problem recently. I had to jump my car to start it 3-4x. I use it for mostly short trips and it garages for 24-72 hours now that it is getting colder out here. So my driving style matches. Also I got my car back in late 2007, so I am damn near sure that my Valve is the old style that robs the battery.
I have a loaner now and am waiting to hear back. I am sure the valve replacement, ECU reset and battery replacement doesn't take long, but like the rest of you if they need to order the valve then I may hafta hold onto the loaner for a while. What sucks is this week is the last week of warm (58-65 degrees) weather for us in MI, and then it's gonna dip to the 30s. So I am out a G37 coupe as of now.

Agreed. I took it printed out to save them hassle & time and to make my point clear & obvious (that my car fell under the VIN range, problem is identical, driving style matches up, etc.) They can not discriminate against an informed consumer. If they still try to charge you or give you the run around, tell them they are practicing unfair business, that you won't be scammed, and are entitled to your warranty work. All consumers should get the same work done. I shouldn't get for free what you have to pay for, and vice versa. If they still insist tell them that you will just complain to Infiniti Consumer Affairs.

Update: They only kept my car overnight, very good/fast service. They have had the new version valve in stock. Replaced valve with new style, upgraded battery, and ECM reflash accordingly. Car was only in the shop for around 24 hours.
