Seat Speakers - Touring Package

What are the speakers for that are mounted on either side of the front seat headrests for? I don't hear anything coming out of them. Are they just for the DVD playing and 5.1?

If you turn on surround sound, you'll get audio from those speakers when the radio is on as well, not just dvd's.

I think they may also be used to some extent for noise cancelling, although I have no real basis for that comment.

I have the Surround turned on but don't really hear them. That in general use, I have really tested to see for sure. Thanks for the tip, I will.

BTW .... the 5.1 System for DVD's sounds really nice, almost better than my home system and I have a pretty good home system.
