i live in the west (pacific beach/mission bay area). i guess i should give it time, but i'm pretty surprised no one has chimed in yet keying me in on a place that'll do the work i was describing previously in this thread. i know how much car businesses work off of word-of-mouth referrals, so i'm not really comfortable just googling it and going off of those results.

what sort of "things" are you referring to that are usually going on around SD weekly?

Powdercoating? Well the way you described it I wouldn't know, but I can see if I can get you a powdercoating shop and you can ask them yourself.
Or at least ask around and see if anyone knows.

But honestly I don't know shops in SD so yeah.

Well being from Mission, the weekly meet borderline is talking about is a bit far but you can drive down for it. It's in the Chula Vista area (I think 20-25 mins)

There is also a weekly Cars&Coffee meet in Irvine, Carlsbad, and Cars&Cups in La Jolla
Every Saturday early morning (It's on the front page)
A group of SD peeps usually go to Carlsbad and every so often to Irvine.

Also a monthly meet in Clairemont. The next one is Aug 31

Also if you're staying in SD for a while, or even now. Go to pm Blue_Batmobile about joining SDCE or just getting on his mass text list. He texts people about meets, caravans, dinners, which occur about 2 times a week if not more.

https://www.myg37.com/forums/souther...g-members.html

Also, sadly this forum is not as active as I hope it is. A good way to finding out about meets is going on g35driver and going to the Southern California section. But don't forget about this forum, afterall you do own a g37!! hahaha

^ You know any places that'll paint/fit my front lip and sides, H?

Maybe I'll just get it done back in Vegas if there really isn't **** out there.

Edit: SDCE... is this something new?

SDCE is the San Diego Car Enthusiasts group that Andy, Blue_Batmobile just started about 3 weeks ago. Its a car group that welcomes any type of car.

Only because he went and bought an NSX!

Seriously though, I've been a bit out of the loop so that's nice to know.

so i haphazardly found a pic of essentially the same concept of what i want to do to my OEM wheels. giving credit where it is, i pulled it from https://www.myg37.com/forums/g37-cou...version-3.html

i want to get the whole front/face of the wheel a black color, but leave a small rim untouched with the stock/OEM portion shining through...does this clear things up Borderline?

any idea of where i can get this done in San Diego?

Sigh I did because I was going to get a new front lip but I can't remember the shop I was looking at

You can always ask Ryan if he installs

Do you guys usually go to the Tea station meets? I've rolled in a couple times, and I don't see any G37's or 370z's. I've seen a couple of 350z..
