Thanks for the heads up Borderline, I'll have to check those roads out. And I live in La Mesa actually, right there of Fletcher Pkwy, I get to see lots of people dragging on that road at night lol. I probably won't be able to make the run this Sunday, have prior plans.

Sleep? for a Julian run? pfft it's only mountains and curvy roads... I'm sure you can do that in your sleep
Just kidding, I rather not have an accident.
Next time!

Don't think there is a sign up... If I found how an estimate of how much people are going I'll post it here.

Hopefully you can still come without it conflicting with your plans, but if not I'm sure there will be plenty more runs in the future so next time

Haha thanks. We might meet sometime before I leave. San Diego meets tend to materialize quickly so there's still time.

Yeah, I wish I wasn't leaving. I hate VA... not close to home at all. Anyway, I'm not gonna crash a sedan meet, they have some weird hatred for coupe guys. Like I said we might end up with a Sep/Oct meet anyway, you know we throw **** together last minute down here.

MACS: Group 5 is a legit shop and they're good at what they do, but they are definitely not cheap. You can get a coilover install way cheaper than that... that's a bit ridiculous. Like someone else suggested, ask Grant.

Haha yep. I know at least once a week I get a text from Andy like 2 hours in advance for a dinner meet or maybe a day in advance for a Palomar run. Keeps you on your toes I guess.

Do you guys start in Julian and go up through Palomar mountains on that very twisty road I see on the map? I would love to join you guys, but I will have to catch the next one. I have plans from 2pm and on on Sunday.

We'll be back before 2 pm.
If we aren't you can always leave a bit early.

PQ is just another name for Rancho Peñasquitos.
and the peet's coffee address is 7845 Highland Village Pl, San Diego, CA 92129

If you are up for it, you can meet some of the people a day early.
They are also going to Cars&Coffee in Irvine tomorrow

Ok, thanks for the info Hliang. I'll be at Peet's coffee by 6:45 with a co-worker of mine that has a G37S coupe with a big surprise under its hood. He isn't on the forum, but maybe we can convince him to join after the run. Gonna pass on Irvine tomorrow though.

Was just thinking, you should update the original post with common meeting places like Peet's, the gas station at the base of the Palomar runs (this one is useful for people coming from north of the 56), and the Carlsbad C&C addresses. And acronyms like PQ for people new to San Diego.
