I just want to throw this out there since I always here about the BMW 335i being the main competition for our g37 coupes. I passed by a nice current model 335i at an intersection today and I noticed the driver of the BMW staring at my car the entire time I drove by. He looked like he wanted to stick it in my cars tailpipe lol.

In case anyone is wondering, because I'm sure some of you are, I'm moving to Virginia. As much as I love the G, I'm going to be about 50 miles from town and can't afford to run it as my DD. I'd rather buy myself something that's economical. We won't discuss which car that is. Frankly I should probably relinquish the man card, but whatever.

hey folks, does anyone have a shop they'd recommend for general auto maintenance (oil changes, brake pad replacements, clutch maintenance, etc)? I've been going to an econolube in pacific beach that has been average, so i thought i'd see if anyone had a shop they are really supportive of and would recommend to a fellow 6MT coupe in San Diego. the neighborhood really isn't important bc good customer service + competitive prices would make me drive a fair distance away.

Not really, but I retract my recommendation for Firestone Santee after they botched my alignment twice.
