Ok, my San Diego (area) brethren... got a quick question for you.

I found Group 5 Motorsports in San Diego, off of Miramar Rd. Anyone have any experience with them? Asked for a quote on KW-V3 and they told me $1850 for the coils and $285 to put them in.

Good deal? Reputable place?

I'm in Temecula since 2000, but I lived in Chula Vista (aka: chulajuana) for 8 years before I moved up here, so I know San Diego better than I know Riverside.

 

Well if you are lucky someone may sell them on the forums in the future. This year alone I think I saw like 5 on the forums for <1500

You can also get KW V3 from THM for 1880 shipped also. So I guess the price is fair.
I think new would be anywhere from 1800-1900 (don't quote just estimating)

You can also pm lou and ask for a price quote to compare for the coilovers and install.

Also for install you can find someone locally to do it unless you want to do a shop, but I have no idea the price sorry on that

Hey fellow G's of SD! Just wanted to point out a fun road to drive on in town. From the 5, get on Lomas Sante Fe Dr / County Hwy S8 heading Eastbound. It isn't too populated and very curvy, Mille Fluers is a nice French restaurant on that road. Also if you see a DB G37S coupe on Advan RS-D wheels, that's me!

 

Wow, I didn't even see this thread until just now. About time we got a SD thread going.

Sadly though I'm here to say goodbye and that it's been lots of fun. I'm moving to Virginia when I return in October, but maybe if there's something going on in the late September to early October time frame I might give it one last go. Anyway, stay safe - especially up at Palomar - and have fun!

and then just drive around Otay Lakes, thas pretty relaxing. or take some photos if your HLiang and friend
