well on base they got some strict stuff going on (at least the main ones)... they pull people over for having chains dangling on the truck, lifted trucks, aftermarket foglights, aftermarket speakers. they do routine safety meeting or what eves....lol the examples i listed were all things that happened to my fathers co-workers.

i'm going in mid july for a couple nights! i enjoy everything! sightseeing, food, beaches, biking, etc. esp good scenery!

 

P.S. that paradise point place mentioned in that thread has a 25 daily parking fee to park it yourself as well as a resort fee!!

 

THAT is for real some strict ish. most of the time its just for overly loud exhaust, and bright light or blue, purple, etc.

Pretty sure you can't get a ticket for having a lifted truck.

You can. I'm pretty sure if it is too low or too high you can get ticketed (Don't quote me, only word of mouth, I have no research done into this haha). Most cops won't care, but I figure if it's a main military base in SD it's understandable they are that strict.

 

yeah can u believe the navy requires motorcyclist to pass their own road test on top of having their license, just to drive it on base.

i actually have yet to hear a lifted truck story but i was told that they would bust out a measuring tape....i do like the stock ride height tho. just the front bothers me slightly by and inch or so. haha

I called crown point permit thing.
I realized that a bbq with over 50 people cost a good amount of money. That's no fun.
