In ground alignment places in Atlanta?

My dealer can't get my car on the alignment rack and would rather not attempt to try it (possibly scraping the exhaust), even with boards to step it up to the ramp. Can you believe that?

I'm looking for any other place except butler tire. Any one know of any in ground alignment places?

Thanks!

Would like to know as well...

Bought the lifetime alignment from Firestone, but since I dropped her its been an epic pain to get onto an alignment lift. Best they can do is plywood boards which most of the shops already have for stock vettes and the like. Still not ideal, thank god its only once every 6 months or so.

Oh, and the clearance issue is really only with the front end, not the exaust.

I got my alignment done initially on the ver at two different butler locations.
1st when the springs got added, it was around 2.8 deg deg camber.
After settling it's 3.0/3.1 at a different location.
Another member has 2.5 deg set on his. I'd like to get to that point but have the dealer do it

All the butler locations handle lowered cars. So there's one in Marrietta and one in John's Creek that I went to. I have not tried the one in Buckhead though.

The funny thing is the dealer close to me is not trying hard enough with the boards that they have. I think butler is using the same alignment machine. Unless I'm missing something in the pic below that piece of wood was the extend of their efforts. I think I'll just need tom try other dealers and eventually see if the techs at the buckhead butler tire can do any better for the camber.

Yeah, that looks like the same rack that Firestone uses. w/o the plywood, the front end will hit the lift before the tires are anywhere close.

I dont see any wood above, but they basically place 2 planks on each sides to extend and lessen the incline. But everytime they put me up there I hear the boards cracking and breaking (my G clearly split and ruined the boards once), so its no suprise they don't try too hard. Its even worse for me at Firestone since I dont pay a cent when the whole ordeal is over.

The wood, is that piece between the two rails. I LOL'd when I saw it. I know what you are referring to however with the long pieces of plywood. This was not the case at my deaker. I'm not sure if they had anything else and they just remove it when I came to pick up my car. There is a little incline but the door being closed does not show it.

In any case this is butlers setup. They have an extra mini ramp, plus more plywood, so it's a very gradual include. it's a pricey alignment at 140 or so vs the dealers 85 or 89 bucks.

This shows the butler setup, after going on the ramp there is an mini inground area (at the Marietta location anyway)

If you are on the south side Allspeed in Peachtree City has in ground alignment, as does B&L tire in Newnan and I believe Litz Tire & Automotive in Sharpsburg. As a side benefit, B&L can do any length vehicle. My truck is too long for the rack at Allspeed

I've used Butler Tire (Marietta and John's Creek) for all my sports cars for the last 15 years and highly recommend them. They typically handle Porsches, Ferraris, Lambos, GTRs, Lotus, Vettes, AC Cobras...Can't see any reason they couldn't take care of your G37 needs.

I especially like their high speed balancing and 4 wheel alignments and their rates are very reasonable compared to other places.

Yeah, I just want to try another place other than Butler and preferably at the dealer.
To that end I've asked the service manager to accomdate my lowered vert, which they are working on. It's a win-win for all.
