SHIFT **** UPDATE: I think I have it narrowed down to 2 options.
This is what I have now: Torque Solution Delrin teardrop- feels great and does not get hot or cold. Just looks plain and not weighted.
1st choice: Raceseng Sphereology- looks great, weighted, and height adjustable. Concerned about metal top becoming scorching hot in summer or ice cold in winter. Also, not sure how difficult it is to remove factory shift pattern from car as it would be redundant with this shift ****.
2nd choice: TWM Phantom Hybrid- looks good, weighted, height adjustable, and no worries about cold or heat. Does not look quite as good as the Raceseng Spereology and is expensive.
Let me know what you think, especially if you have one or the other. Curious about heat/cold on the Raceseng Spereology and what differences you noticed in shifting with a weighted shift ****. Also, how well does the height adjustment work? Thanks!
i prefer the first. You can't just remove the shift pattern in the shifter trim though, you'll have to cover it with vinyl or something.
Apparently it is painted and cleared on and can be removed. I am also asking if they can put a different design on the shift **** so I don't have to screw around with it.

Anyone with a weighted shift **** care to comment on what they noticed different with the shifting compared to a non-weighted shift ****?
I had my weighted TWM Leopard **** on the OEM shifter for 2 days before installing the TWM short shifter. TBH, there was very little difference in overall shifter feel. Sure, the Leopard felt better in hand but any drivability difference, IMO, was purely psychological.

No, sorry and not really a good way to get one. However, with the exhaust and headers I love the way it sounds. The cats provide a short rasp in 2nd gear, but other than that, I wouldn't change a thing. Probably one of the best sounding V6's I have ever heard. I even like the sound better than my old E46 M3.
It is really nice at track days to be able to hear my exhaust through the helmet again so I can time my shifts right. My '14 Evo was way too quiet. The G37 also sounds absolutely awesome at high rpms on the track.
So I have it narrowed down to the Raceseng Sphereology shift **** pictured above. I was trying to figure out a way to get rid of the factory shift pattern so I did not have it in both places, but it sounded easy to screw up. I may have a solution.
Raceseng can do their "R" logo on top of the shift **** for free instead of the shift pattern so that I don't have to screw around with removing the factory shift pattern. I think I will go that route. Thoughts?
Definitely the way I would go, unless you were to acquire a piece of interior trim from the junk yard to hone your skills with first...? All depends on what you have your heart set on
