Paddle Shifter Delay
It doesn’t have to be a DCT
Regardless of what the other poster said, a grounding kit made a BIG difference. My paddles are now very good (I drive with the paddles 100% of the time).
As other people have said, it does depend on driving conditions - on the throttle hard = very quick shifts. Shifting up off throttle and standard driving = more casual shifts. Downshifts while braking (hard driving) = very quick shifts.
Do I wish they were better? Yes, but the trans isn't a Dual Clutch. If they were bad, I wouldn't drive with them 100% of the time
I have seen videos of extremely expensive cars with similar or worse paddle lag
