I was giving consideration to renting one of the Park's pavilions.

Pavilion #1, 2 and 3 are all available for that day as of right now, for a $115 fee. Otherwise, un-reserved Pavilions are available on a first-come, first-serve basis. #1 and #2 are right as you come into the Park. #3 is at the eastern side of the end of the peninsula, on the water... which is where I was kind of planning on anyway. It looks very appealing at that section of the Park.

IDK. Overkill? I suppose we could do it if everyone chips in $10.

I'm in for that John, especially if we aren't getting there until 2. Sometimes, not always, they fill up quick. At least they did in Pittsburgh.

Anyone else? If there's enough agreement for a dozen people to toss me $10 each on the day of the event, then tomorrow morning I'll reserve that lakeside Pavilion.

Yeah, right. Like I'm the only one who uses cans of compressed air to blow out the crevices in the dash. I don't believe it.

OK, that's four (including me). Good enough trend. I'll call the Park tomorrow after they open, and reserve Pavilion #3. More later.

  • Weatherstripping cleaned, then treated with silicon spray.
  • Plastics cleaned and treated with protectant
  • Carpets spot-cleaned, shampoo'd and vacuumed.
  • All-season matts cleaned and treated with protectant.
  • Roof, front-end, and hood claybar'd and waxed.
  • Leather cleaned and conditioned with LEXOL products.
  • Exhaust tips cleaned, and polished.

My right wrist hurts now, and once again for entirely selfish reasons.
Yeah I dont know about that part John, in all honesty ... mine's a 2013 but with all the scratches that damn people have done to my car it's just ridiculous and I dont think it looks that new as you would expect, but certainly this week I am getting a lot of stuff done to my car in regards to cleaning it, waxing, scratch removal, and all that BS so it definitely will look better for the meet up.

Pavilion Reservation

We now have Pavilion #3 Reserved the entire day. This is a free-standing structure, with benches and electricity, that can support over 100 people. (It's a pavilion, not an enclosed building.) There are two open-area grills available (bring your own charcoal.) The pavilion will be marked as "Reserved" under my name by the Ranger that morning, so we shouldn't have issue shooing anyone out. The little building across the way are public bathrooms.

It cost me $129, so if everyone chips in $10, that should about cover it.

This makes me feel a whole lot better, because even if it rains off and on, we've got a place to hang.

This pavilion is pretty deep into the park, so you might want to bring a little map. IDK if NAV Systems will take you there.

This just made me even more excited. The lake in the back will make for some nice pictures too.

Also, does anyone besides me have a GoPro? Filming the cruises to lunch/dinner etc. with more than one perspective would be cool.
