7500k Service Charge in the Bay
7500k Service Charge in the Bay
Hows it going Folks,
Im just looking to see what everyone is paying for their 7500k service around the Bay. I got a quote from a Peninsula dealer for 208+ tax, which seems crazy for the first 7500k miles.
Any input would be appreciated...

7500 service??? Oil and filter change only by factory specs if I remember right. Then next "real"service is at 15,000...add in-cabin filter swap. I'm not sure why/what everyone is paying for these "services".
I just got my car back from Frontier Infiniti for an oil change ($50) and to check out some noises. My car has 6050 miles on it and they asked if I wanted to do the 7500 service ($169). The guy told me they rotate the tires (Ha! not for my car), change oil & filter, and other garbage. it's a lot of inspections. I told him No and he documented in my paperwork that they offered and I said no. WTF?
The 05 loaner sedan was sweet. The auto tranny throttle blip on downshifts made the car really smooth. It's really easy to do donuts in that car too!

Documenting is an old scare tactic trick. They do the same thing in many sales situations. I remember when I used to work for the Good Guys! stores in sales......one of the managers made us write on any ticket where a customer did not want an extended warranty, "customer refused.....". It's just another way to ask you are you sure we can't take some more of your money.
