Between this board, the 370Z boards, and Bobistheoilguy, there are literally hundreds of UOAs that you can read, that folks have been kind enough to share, for G37s and 350 and 370Zs. Of course each engine is unique, and ideally you should have a UOA done on your own oil, but my point is, there is an OVERWHELMING amount of data out in cyberspace about what oils are preferred and the change intervals. After a certain level of analysis, it kinda gets like "what music is best" - take your pick.

Thats correct... over that will deny any warranty engine claims.

I'm one of those G owners that has the dealer put Nestor oil in my car. My car is an 09 xS sedan and my oil has only been changed 5 times since new, but my car just turned 10000 miles last weekend [now have 10013 miles]. I'll be getting it changed in the next two weeks or so. I check it regularly and the oil looks like new and never seems to need a top off so I hope there isn't any harm in doing the changes the way I have been. It's kind of funny when I get the oil changed I get a reminder some months later from the dealer that it's time for me to get the car in for required service, and this after I "piled" maybe 500 or 600 miles on it. I haven't even had it to the dealers for the 12 month service.
