You should feel really good that your Daddy bought you a brand new car. In terms of your "problem" I had the same issue to battle when I was considering the G. Sure 6MT feels funner to drive at times, but if you kick the gears into the sport shift mode for the AT, if feels just as fun as the 6MT. I'm in the heavy traffic area so AT was the smart choice. You should feel proud of your spankin' new whip!
^7 miles does not qualify as a commute!

I think my fastest is 3 minutes and thats with going through a couple lights and turns.
I just got off the phone with the head engineer from the G37S. He said the car was originally only planned to be a 6 speed and they were only going to offer it in black since it was the "best color."
