Sh- next time can arrange for police escorts for all of us??? how about 3 bands on 2 stages with fireworks?? wet tshirt contest?? Build a giant temperature controlled tent??
Geez... if you had problems or didn't have a good time, take it up with your club president... dont publicly shi+ on the hardwork of the people that busted their a$$es to pull it off... im sure Shelah would love an extra set of hands next year to set it all up... The intent was to build a relationship between the clubs and meet each other... I met a ton of cool people and saw some awesome cars... if you stood around and only interacted with the people you already know, thats your fault, not theirs... life is what you make of it...

I did PM you so check that.
I know it was a long drive, but the NY guys had about the same distance too, especially the ones from LI and further out. The 3 organizers thought this was the best location for all and an executive decision was made.
Anyway, it was the first one and if people have other suggestions, we are very much open to it. Talk to Pratik or myself for next time.
I drive up to NYC all the time for the meets those guys have, but I love to drive (yes, getting stuck in traffic sucks) but what can u do, no one's fault. (Except the azzholes who cause the accidents that back things up for miles.)
Anyway, glad you made it out. Follow up with me about your raffle prize, you will definitely get it.

Shelah, I want to personally thank you for setting up such a great event. I can't take credit for anything that was done yesterday. I know how hard it is to even set up a meet for 20 people, let alone times 3.
I dont think anyone here is bashing the meet at all. We really do all appreciate your efforts. I think the traffic got to be a little frustrating on the way up and above that, it was just getting lost and taking detours. Thats nobody's fault or put to blame.
I think a meet like this where we all come together can only be a good thing. There was some mingling amongst the group and hopefully the next time we can have even more interaction. How does a trip down to DC sound?

i'd head down in a heartbeat...
Sounds good! I've personally wanted to invite every club down to our area if we're to have another Tri-Meet event as we did yesterday. Im sure it would be a lot of fun. We'd have to do it up DC style
Hey this is Brian, iwould like to that all who participated in the meet.I would like to thank the organizers. It is hard to coordinate a meet of this magnitude.I think the heat and traffic had much to do with the hard feelings. The meet was nice .It was just hot and the traffic was horrible in Pa.These are things we have no control over .So everone should keep the negative comments at bay.We will doi it again and it will be better .We just need a different route.Pratik I and the 350 cant remember hi name we cruzed home in no time. Great time peole as usual B out oh thanks to the sponsors too.
I'm the newbie of the group and I was happy to see a meet like this. In my previous club the participation was so crappy that people would commit and never show up or call...very frustrating. I've organized two large scale meets myself and most people have a great time and some don't...it's just different expectations I guess. I myself had a fantastic time and seeing that it was my first meet with the club I can just say that I can't wait until the next one..no matter how big or small. Thanks to the people who contributed in organizing everything.

I'm glad I came to the meet on Saturday because I meet a nice crowd. Everyone was laid back and chill. Yes, our drive up there SUCKED, good thing the 3g's (john, lek, and I) got to the bbq first and avoided anymore drama! hahahahahaha And our drive home wasn't that bad thanks to John and Arjunz who had the navi! I'm sorry we missed out on real cheesesteaks from the city...but we were all getting tired.
Thanks to Shelah who put a lot of effort in planning the bbq.
Yes, I won a used AEM intake
SOOOO definitely GREAT meet....we should plan another when the weather is cooler..maybe on our turf next time muhahaha.

I had a good time at the meet as well, the only crappy part was it took us 6+ hrs getting there. The meet was pretty well organized and what not. The only thing I was expecting which didnt happen was actually meeting some of the ppl on this board so I can place faces to the screennames (and talk trash to them!!). The only few members I met were Shelah, O_NO, PearlG35Coupe....
I was hoping to meet alot of other people, some from the PA Squad and the NY Squad. I was under the assumption that there would be some type of formal 'introduction' or something to mix the 3 clubs, rather than have 1 big meet with the 3 clubs only talking their respective clubs. This is the only part I wish would/could have been different. In other words the other members of the clubs including the NGC didnt seem to really mingle w/ the other members and I assumed since we had come to 'their house' so to speak that they would've introduced themselves etc.

I was only hoping to meet some of the boards veterans (Ducatiguy, speedaholic, Diesel, SIGcoupe, marchesano...etc etc)!! Anyways, hopefully during the next meet!! Good meet nevertheless, just sucked I had to leave at 4...
I did meet 'John' PearlGcoupe from the PA squad and on our way back we were with 4 other G's and ran into his G on 95 south. We mixed it up with him a bit, and hung w/ us up until he got to his exit!! Was a good time!!
