Well for the 5? g's that didn't leave until later....oh man that traffic was horror. I couldn't stand it anymore my patience for the speed limit was gone. LOL. Anyways I really pissed that corvette off real bad. Will let you guys know in detail when I see ya. If I was to balance the drive there and the meet itself it probably wasn't worth it. But thats because we were stuck driving about 9 hrs when it should have only been 4. Wait I think that actually was 10 hrs..... I dont remember. Got home at 1am...

Thanks to the G Squad for hosting.

Nice to see the crew at the meet. I think if we travelled in smaller groups like the one we had coming back from Philly it would have been easier and would have been better.

Next time we have a meet to drive to that is far maybe we can have a couple of different routes to go. Was hard to keep 25+ of us together. Glad we all made it though.

I think splitting us all up in groups would have been a good idea ... we could have had one person with nav and one with a radar detector in each group ... and then we could have all met at the entrace of the park and rolled up togeteher .. however with that being said ... I think ... this was our first time ..we have learned a lot from it .... The Traffic did get frustrating ... even on the way back when i twas just me lek john rhea and jesus ..... Thanks for everyone that came out and i wanna also thank again every person who helped in setting this meet up .. .. ya'll did an amazing job! ...

It was def. nice meeting some of you guys! SOrry I didn't egt a chance to meet all of you. The heat gave me a case of the friggin laze eeeeeeeeee! I was just chillen n didn't wanna move! Sounds like you guys hit more traffic then us which def sux. Thinking back, I kick myself in the **** for throwing the Aug 13th date out there. Who the hell knew it would be record breaking heat & humidity! That park in the fall has to be insane! Maybe we can find another location lil further south for the next one.

Anyway, it's tough coordinating for such a big group coming from all over, but Shelah did a great job!

Introductions would have been a cool idea, but hey, we learn from each meet! Some peeps think that may be corny or whatever, but I think it's a good idea. I was actually thinking about yesterday while having a heat stroke....it would be like a a G's anonymous meeting....Hello, I'm Drew...aka Diesel 1 ......And I drive a G coupe....yadda yadda! Sheeeeeeeeesh even if we had nametags yesterday, they would have nothing to stick to! LOL

Good seeing you guys! Hope to do it again sometime!

I had a fun day everyone. I didn't mind the traffic, the heat, or the 5 different directions from 5 different Navs when we got lost...I enjoy driving my car, and it's even better when I'm driving with people who share the same passion. Big thanks to all the organizers!!!

Pratik, glad you had the radar detector for the ride home. Makes me wonder why I don't own one.

Jess

I dont think we met! I was asking someone who benj was but no one seemed to know...

For the soldiers.... yes I mean soldiers who stayed in PA til 9? Eventhough the cheesesteak wasn't what we were expecting.... it was nice to chill out a bit before heading back. I think if I did go back right away I would have flipped and gone insane. But that place..."cheesesteak" place was on fire.. I can't believe they didn't have A/C!!! Anyways the drive home was cool after we sat in traffic for 45 mins... then took a detour and we were straight after that.

In regards to 'introductions' I simply meant a 'hey im diesel, this is koreangrl, this is ducatiguy...etc'. I guess the G squad is mostly into cars, whereas I notice the NGC we bond more as friends, cars are just secondary. In my opinion there is no point to have a BBQ with a group of people if you only know 1/3 of the people there. I already know my NGC bro's and can hang out w/ them any day of the week, regardless of whether I still own a G. My reason for going to the meet was to meet some of the out of state peeps and check out the rides and eat.

I also think its unfair to be upset about our criticism as nobody said anything bad. We all were in our cars for a good 6-7 hrs there and another 2.5-3 hrs back. And if I feel the drive wasnt worth it, thats my perogative. That doesnt mean I in any way am disrespecting the organizers, as I know alot of work went into the setup. It simply means for 8-9 hrs of driving, that whole 1-3 hrs people spent actually eating/talking wasnt really worth it and I can respect that as I was one of those people who actually was in the car for that amount of time. Regardless it was a good experience and overall good time.

How about sticky name tags next time? It can contain, screen name, first name and club. I dont know about you all, but after learning about 20 names at one time Im already starting to forget the 1st persons name! With name tags you can always just look down and refresh your memory.
