In my opinion there is no point to have a BBQ with a group of people if you only know 1/3 of the people there. I already know my NGC bro's and can hang out w/ them any day of the week, regardless of whether I still own a G. My reason for going to the meet was to meet some of the out of state peeps and check out the rides and eat.

I also think its unfair to be upset about our criticism as nobody said anything bad. We all were in our cars for a good 6-7 hrs there and another 2.5-3 hrs back. And if I feel the drive wasnt worth it, thats my perogative. That doesnt mean I in any way am disrespecting the organizers, as I know alot of work went into the setup. It simply means for 8-9 hrs of driving, that whole 1-3 hrs people spent actually eating/talking wasnt really worth it and I can respect that as I was one of those people who actually was in the car for that amount of time. Regardless it was a good experience and overall good time.
Thank You. Some of these dudes took it too seriously, I didn't in anyway mean to offend the organizers of this meet, I was just saying how I felt.

I had name tags in my car for everyone. Thought that idea was gonna get shot down so they're still sitting in my car. I actually had name tags for all the clubs if people wanted them. I guess its for next time.

Hey pdjafari,
I wasn't getting upset about your criticism. I know it was a long haul and the traffic and the heat all didn't play well within it. I do this type of stuff at my regular job so I don't take anything personal. Everyone is entitled to their opinion and that is fine.

The G Squad is in to their cars, and a lot of these guys do hang out as well and have become pretty good friends. I have gone up to NY as well and especially to get a different change of scenary too.

It's all good!

Shelah, no apologies!! I was able to meet you and you did an awesome job organizing the meet. I dont think meetings/introductions really were anything one could 'coordinate', its more about the vibe. Regardless, it was a good time!!

Saturday ruled!!!! Other than the heat, it was perfect!

Obviously there are things that we will improve on nenxt time - but thats the way things go...

Great meeting a lot of new peeps (ducatiguy, thatg, pratcik, pdjafari, etc)

And great seeing all the cars! My friend who came by was freaking out becasue hes "thinkin" about getting a G - and after walking around that lot for 5 minutes, he was SOLD! Well done yalll....

Anyways, the BEST part of the meet was after i left, i go home, take a quick shower, and hit the back way to Baltimore......so i finally dump onto I95-South, im rolling at about 80 and i see a pack of G's roll up behind me...they were from the MEET!!! It was PDJAFARI and some others that i recognized, but dont know their names - we ripped around through traffic for a bit, then i had to split off into the Inner Harbour - but that was so fun yall....

Post up if that was you!!!!

Lata

Yep, I had the CB G. It was fun driving with you. Love that body kit! Your car was looking great. My cam was in my truck so I could not snap any pics.
