Saturday

Thx everyone it was a blast. Including Booz and her 360 weee! Traffic sucked! But it was good to finally meet everyone.

Glad MissR made it out and it looks like as a few of us were leaving she won an intake? That is sweet!

You all were killing me on the radios glad I picked one up.

Nice picture. LOL

G6G35: And what prize would that be? So, what would you have done differently? How are your "meets" that you go to?

I don't even know what I won so maybe you can tell me. This is Gene by the way. The meet was okay but I don't think it was worth the drive and getting stuck in traffic. And I thought the turnout would've been bigger.

well i have to say the drive up there was definitely painful...but to no fault of anyone in particular. there was the overturned truck that blocked off three lanes of 95...then the traffic on... what? 476? that was just b.s. too... but i thought the turnout was pretty good, and the gsquad kids bring out a lot of ruckus and good hearted people with 'em!

The meet was okay? Don't think it was worth your time? Complaining about traffic? Come-on dude!

Just to see all the rides as well as meet their owners, we only hear about and sometimes see glimpses off, was worth the trip! The turn out was also pretty impressive. It can always be better, but that's why they have meets, so they can grow with each and every one. You can just expect everyone and their mother to show up to every meet.

Traffic, well yea that always sucks, but it's not like we can do anything about it. You just gotta live with it and make the best of it. What sucked for me is that I forgot my easy pass, so while all my buds zipped through the easy pass lane, I was stuck paying fo rmy toll with cash which took FOREVER! (thanks to those who waited, and for those who didn't - well you know... lol)...

The weather, OK so it was a "little" hot, but once again we're all there, not against our will, so once again you just gotta make the best of what we have on our hands.

Final answer for me - Well worth the 315 miles (round trip from CT to PA), the traffic, not having my easy pass with me, and even the heat... (I actually got some color - lol)....

They Did an amazing job .. especially Shelah ... and i thank you for the time you put into this .... you did an amazing job .. hopefully next time we can have a better meet ....

The drive home was a breeze though. Took 202S and dropped us right on to 95S. No traffic like we had on 476 on the way up. Though me and Pathis were moving at a pretty good clip until we ran into traffic just north of Baltimore.

Yeah ride home was cake. I think if we would have taken 202N to get there the ride would have been cake. but noone knew about the traffic on 476 so its easy to look back and be a monday morning QB.

Sorry we got split up, I went off for gas at Maryland house and tried to catch back up to where I thought you were but the traffic was too thick.

Overall I enjoyed the meet. Won 2 raffle prizes! I think the ride up did drain alot out of us tho.

[QUOTE=g6g35]I don't even know what I won so maybe you can tell me./QUOTE]

I did PM you so check that.

I know it was a long drive, but the NY guys had about the same distance too, especially the ones from LI and further out. The 3 organizers thought this was the best location for all and an executive decision was made. Anyway, it was the first one and if people have other suggestions, we are very much open to it. Talk to Pratik or myself for next time.

I drive up to NYC all the time for the meets those guys have, but I love to drive (yes, getting stuck in traffic sucks) but what can u do, no one's fault. (Except the azzholes who cause the accidents that back things up for miles.)

Anyway, glad you made it out. Follow up with me about your raffle prize, you will definitely get it.
