Favorite restaurants
Sorry to bring back this thread, but my 2 year anniversary is coming up. I read a lot of people here enjoy Citronelle. How much should I be looking to spend for 2 at this restaurant? What makes this place so good?
Menu w/ fixed pricing is here - http://www.citronelledc.com/menus.cfm
I think fixed price menus are good for a special occassion as you get to try some really good food over multiple courses, and no one feels any potential pressure about ordering multiple courses or expensive dishes, as its all set. The food is great, and on one visit when I closed the rest., we got to meet Michele, his maitre d, and sommelier as we were leaving because they were winding down over some scotch and cigars in the lounge by the front door - very cool.
As good as I think Citronelle is, I thought 2941 in Falls Church was amazing by comparison.

I dont see any prices on the website, but I will say this...any place that requires me to wear a jacket to eat...they dont have to post the prices...cuz I probably cant afford it anyway...
"At Our Restaurant, we dont discriminate, but Our Prices Do"...LMAO

just to add to the topic since I just recently joined this forum, but have any of you guys tried Fogo De Chao? If any of you guys like steak or meat, I recommended it. Its located in DC.
BTW, whos korean that knows all those korean spots?

I haven't been to Fogo, although a good friend raved about their unlimited filet. I think I'm over the whole "all you can eat" scene, and now prefer quality over quantity... I'll gladly take a brown bag of 5 Guys fries over unlimited baskets of Red Robin's fries.
