this thread is way too open-ended, but let me just say that I'm still looking for a restaurant better than Citronelle.

Citronelle is in G'town at the Latham Hotel. Was there on Wed. and had the most amazing soft shell crabs.

Price of admission is a trade on rims. ha. I think Pratik's a baller too. I'm in the mood for some good fish, so I think I'm gonna hit Tachibana. What are your sushi faves outside the City? Kaz and Sushi-Ko are great, but I hate street parking.

Melting Pot is alright. I think fondue is more about the experience and ambience than the food to begin with, so its a good spot if you want to have a long leisurely meal. I don't think their Bernaise is authentic, but if your girl will be impressed, go and have a great time.

yeah .. i just went there for the first time a few days ago ... i liked .. how u dip the bread in the cheese for appetizers and .... dipping fruits in the melted choclate ... but the food .. you have to freakking cook it urself ... and takes soo much time .. so i'd just go there for appetizers and desert.
