Haven't posted in a while (Long)

So July wasn't too great of a month to start with.

First week of July I was driving down a 2 lane road with the windows and sunroof open and a small truck kicked up a nice 4in rock which hit right behind the sunroof opening. Went to close the sunroof and it looked like it was iced up but as soon as it finished closing the glass just completely shattered and fell all over me. Didn't get the plates of the truck because he was long gone...not that it would have mattered because insurance would have just labeled it as an act of God.

Roof right behind the sunroof...this is where the rock hit.

So the next week I spent taking it to get the insurance estimate and taking it to a couple other budy shops and getting estimates from them. Decided to take it to Two Guys Auto Body in Mechanicsville, MD. They did excellent work on my neighbor's truck and on top of that we know the owners so he gave us a pretty good deal.

Couldn't take it in the week of July 16th because I was on a vacation which I had known about and been planning on for months so I decided to go ahead and go on it.

Week after that finally got the car in the shop and it spent 2 weeks in there and finally got it back this past Tuesday. While it was in there getting the sunroof and rear fixed I also decided to have them put on my new front bumper (which I've had in the garage for over a year and a half haha) and repaint the hood and front fenders because they were riddled with rock chips.

The paint isn't perfect but it's great considering the price. Have to take it back this coming Monday to get a new hood put on because the old one keeps flexing and get some imperfections taken care of but then it should be good to go.

Heres some pics (Yes it's dirty...have been driving since I got it back haha):

Guess what front this is haha:

I figure I wanna be just like everyone else since it seems like everyone's getting the Nismo although I've had mine for almost 2 years now hahahaha

Driver's side fender nice and shiny with no rock chips

Passenger side fender with no rock chips

Nice new/used sunroof (it's from a junkyard but it's still mint)

spot behind the sunroof repainted

top of the trunk and spiler repainted

and the rear of the trunk repainted...i debadged a while after I got the car so I had scratches and still had shadows of the lettering so now that's gone

Well that's my long post for the day haha. Yes I know I don't have that much that is original paint on the car anymore but oh well.

Cliffnotes: July sucked for me cuz I had my sunroof shattered and I'm happy to have my car back from the bodyshop after a repaint and new front bumper.
