November 2006 Turbo Magazine Cover!

Anyone seen it? The Coupe on the cover was "re-built" at JE Import Performance in Baltimore...I spoke to James Evans (JE Owner) today.

I think it's puttin down 800hp to the wheels?!?!?!? ..or some madness like that. I plan to pick up a copy tomorrow.

Whewwwwwwww; can't wait to see!!!

havnt seen the article, but if its a rb26dett swap, there might be some serious weight balance issues considering how much significantly heavier and bigger the I6 is compared to the VQ. itd take some serious work to make it fit the engine bay, let alone keeping the Front-Mid engine placement. there should be a severe front weight bias. Wonder what they did to solve that, or if its an unbalanced drag racer now.

^^act. it was done on a 350z a while ago. i dont think they had any fitment issues, just alot of custom work. i cant speak on the weight bias...but i imagine they thought of that b/c the work was done professionally by a major vendor i recall

Call James Evans (JE) and ask him (410.686.5111) - - I talked to him a couple days ago and asked same question: He said (approximately) 8 hours of labor ($600-$750), give or take...he will also match best price on any turbo kit.

Good luck!
