I use 300V and change my oil @ around 5,000 miles, sometimes more.

No problems.

Oh and while ucla bruin was out hitting limp mode with his Eneos @ Streets, I wasn't

I was probably in a lower gear than I was suppose to because of noobness

I change ENEOS anywhere between 6500mi to 7500mi. Some have track dates in between. Analysis all came back healthy. I was advised to try for 8500mi interval with ENEOS by the lab.

Sounds like fun and I can't wait to get my G on the track. Because of the limp mode that I have heard so much about I already have a 25row race oil cooler on and for safe measure I added another 25row for the 7 speed auto tranny. I currently also have -2 degrees camber on the front and -1 degree on the rear. I can take circle off ramps at 70 and it hugs the road. I just need to find a event down here in South Carolina to go play LOL. I envy you guys right now LOL

I get depressed every time I do an event like this, everyone has light 2 seaters with slicks while we have to hussle around a 3600+ sedan with street summer tires. Not fair!

The car has very little to do with lap times until you're a fairly experienced driver.

He was on OEM rims? Everyone was suspecting aftermarket rims. OEM rims bend the barrel if you just clip the chicane. He had to have been fully 2 off and then some multiple times to do that. This is where forged rims come in. Where a non-forged wheel would have a catastrophic failure, a forged rims will just bend, or have a lesser failure. He had to have felt a bent rim before it would just shatter like that. Were they modified in any way? (Powdercoating or painting comes to mind)

The other s2k with a fire... I talked to him. It looks like he blew an engine... we were speculating a money shift which resulted in him dumping oil (and the oil caught fire). The fire was all at the upper portion of the engine, and didn't originate from the fuel lines or anything down low...

I'll probably be at WSIR on the 18th. Maybe the 17th. I'll be mainly instructing, and might drive a session.

I'm debating SoWS on the 31st, but as with WSIR, I'll probably just instruct and maybe drive one session.

The AE performance kit is a 72 row core. You can piece the kit together yourself, but it's not a huge cost savings. Also, consider using a more robust oil.
Joel said you'll be at the Streets of Willow the 31st ,say hi to sung
