1/4 Mile Times G37
Very cool.. Cant wait to see the new numbers these will bring. I was looking into the JUN cams since they make some killer products but am weary since they always seem to be for sale at give away prices, any idea why?
Back in the day, JUN cams for the SR20 were making power but the company had a poor rep. Guess nothing has changed in fiteen years. JWT "C" cams were the ticket for track cars.
Yes both I and my BF noticed it felt quicker off the line. I backed it up by doing several 30-80 runs and under the exact same weather conditions and 1/4 tank of gas noticed a 2/10ths drop....I got the pulley on Ebay for $180 and my mechanic hit me up for an hour ($95) labor.. Very good bang for the buck...The R2C2 intake not so much............
I'm leaning towards the Berk Cats after I do the 3.69 gear swap next weekend..

How does it do against the bmw 435i now?
So far I've added a R2C2 intake..Stillen Underdrive Pullies and a 369 gears and have minimal improvement to show for it.
My wifes 435 does a 13.6 quarter mile. The G37 is neck and neck with it to sixty but after that fades against the beemer.
Did anyone notice an improvement in their times after this expensive, time consuming mod??
I was forewarned by a colleague that the 370Z bolt ons are a waste of time and money and have read an occasional post to this site as well. Intakes and exhaust "upgrades" seem to do little to this car other than lighten our wallets.
I was caught up in the fever and had planned on high flow cats and cat back exhausts. These mods are worthless without a dyno tune which is very expensive.

I did look into it and the 2011 convertibles had the 3 .36 axle.
3.36 to 3.69 isn't much of an increase. I'm sure the 4.08 swap would yield considerable improvement.

I have a 3.70 rear set sitting at home. Just havent bought a front set yet
the 7 speeds had 3.36 i even did the test to see if i even put a 3.69 diff by spinning the tires and counting the rotations of driveshaft and checked my old diff too
