You'll have no problem getting in the 12's with spray.

Any ideas on a good tire size for drag radials or tire pressure for stock rims to keep the tires from spinning so much from line

Are you modded or stock? Those wheels are definitely slowing you down.

Tire pressure start from 30 and work your way down. Don't go lower than 25 though.

Avoid the water box if on street tires do a quick spin to get dirt off the tires.

Shallow stage hit the gas on the 3rd yellow not the green. (Do this only to improve your reaction time)

Launch barely off idle like 1k-1200 in MM. Shift between 7300-7500.

If you have paddle shifters use them my car is faster using them for some reason.

Lastly have fun if you don't get your time don't get discouraged you can only get faster with practice.

I agree with all of that except the paddle shifters. From a launch, DS AUTO mode is a bit faster for shifting on its own than the paddles, at least on my car. The paddles are a bit laggy so I have to time it right and tap the paddle a few hundred RPM's early or it'll bounce off the limiter and lag a bit. The DS shift into 2nd is perfectly timed and reliable every time.

I just ran a honda with built b20 today beat him 2 cars with rims. I launched around 1200 rpm but lag from line cuz of rims an low rpm. I was able to make up for it in manual mode. Also tried Ds mode before race an notice that it had a more powerful launch. Next race I will try Ds mode without rims. Why does my car rpm drop if I idle around 2500 to long? We also took a video Will try to upload in next couple days. Honda B20 also tuned an built I have no upgrades but Ds mode very good advice could have done alot better

With ecutek it's almost instant using the paddles before the tune no.

This is using the paddles.

The car cuts power if you brake torque longer than 3-5 secs. Where do you race in VA?

Shooting for low 12's maybe high 11's NA when it warms up. I should be close the fastest auto is a 370 that went 12.3 NA. Fastest ever NA is 12.2.

Near suffolk. I ran the same car couple nights ago but this time I gave him one car length with my stock tires. Over rev 3rd in manual but also had vds off so he won by 2 car lengths. Launched around 2000 rpm. Should I leave vds on an launch at 2000 in Ds mode. After I missed 3rd gear I started to gain more cars but not fast enough. Think I could in Ds mode but not sure about vds off. Any advice

So you probably race people I know out there from NC. They drive 335's. I might come out there one night in my sedan.

I run with VDC off. Only advice practice especially on the road/track you run on.

DS mode short shifts to me which why I said shift between 7300-7500 since your not tuned to speed up your shifts.

Mods as of now
Ported upper and lower manifolds
GTR injectors
JWT Cams
ATI crank pulley
PPE longtube headers
EPS throttle bodies
3in intakes
Aluminum driveshaft
Z1 motor mounts
FI CF exhaust

Have not ran this setup yet too cold out.

Mods for the 12.7 runs.

Z1 upper manifold
NST pulleys
AAM intakes
EPS throttle bodies
eBay resonated test pipes (beluga)
eBay exhaust (beluga)
3.7 final drive
Ecutek tune by Seb at specialtyz
