Wow! What a difference it really made for so cheap!

Upshifting is quicker. Not instant but very noticeably quicker where it's not so bad anymore.

Downshifting is fun now! You hit the paddle and it responds so quick! It feels very Gran Turismo-ish now.

Throttle response improved as well. It felt kind of lazy before but now, much better.

And the audio sounds a bit louder. The bass sounds much cleaner though.

Seriously, Infiniti should have just included these from the factory. These cables made a noticable difference. My biggest gripe was the laggy paddle shifters and these cables have made me a very satisfied customer

Thank you Black Betty!
Thanks. It doesn't make the AT in our cars perfect, but as you attested, it is a vast improvement from stock - certainly enough to notice.

These are sill in stock and still shipping out quickly. Get yourself one.

Anyone have any pictures of the Athens Blue wires installed? (preferably in a blue G, but doesn't need to be)

I'd like to get a sense of how that'll look before I decide which color to get - thanks!

Unfortunately I don't have any photos of that color installed on a car.

Betty, is there a reason my connectors are not copper as described in this thread?

The connectors are indeed copper. However they are tin plated so they won't turn green and corrode in time. If you take a knife or sharp object and scratch or scrape one, you'll see that they are copper through and through and the plating is very thin, only a surface coating. Of course now it will eventually corrode in the spot you scraped off.

These newer connectors that I've been using are much higher quality than the original gold colored ones I used that are designed for audio.

I need to replace the old photos with current photos of the newer style so people know what to expect.

thanks for the explanation.

install was smooth- other my dropping the extension off my ratchet down through the engine bay to the plate on the bottom of the car. lucky for me, i was able to reach it just by taking off the little flap for the oil filter and i didn't have to take the whole cover off.

imo red wires look good with the red lettering on my stillen intakes. can't tell if shifts are faster or not (it's all a mind game)...but i'm happy with the mod.

It looks great in your engine bay. Red has been very popular again, lately. I shipped a red set to Dubai today as well.

Yes, it is designed to run underneath the intake tubing, but you con do it either way you prefer. It makes no difference functionally.

Funny you should ask. I actually will be in Austin this Sunday and Monday the 11th and 12th. If you really want a newer set I'll bring one even though this trip wasn't planned to be for business. I'll even give you a discount as a repeat customer if you want to buy a second set. No install though, the wife would kill me. You watched me do it the first time, you shouldn't have a problem with a DIY install. PM me for details if you seriously would like to buy a second set of wires.

OK folks, I found a 4 AWG black set that I had put aside that used to be the set on Black Betty herself. I took them off after a few months to install the newest version (different terminals) in a custom color (LSU purple/gold weave). This set is functionally perfect and cosmetically 8/10. The cosmetic flaw is simply that there are marks around the mounting holes from where it was installed before, that's it. You cant even see that when it's installed on the car. Also, this set uses the gold plated terminals that I used to use (v2.0) before switching to the tin plated copper ones that are corrosion resistant (v2.5).

I won't sell it as new and I've got no use for it. $45 takes it. PM me if you want a piece of automotive history that was once a component of Black Betty herself.
