The older sets had terminals made for car audio that were gold colored. The newer ones have heavy duty lugs that are tin plated copper. They are silver plated, but solid copper inside. If you scratch off the tin you will see it. But it's tin coated to prevent corrosion.

installed today.. great quality bb im impressed i really wasnt expecting this kit to be as good as it was. took me about an hour to install as ive never installed anything in a car before besides an air freshener lol (im 19) its like having a totally different transmission! much smoother shifts in drive, ds is definitely more aggressive than it was because the shifts are so much faster and my ecu whine is gone. downshifts and upshifts in M are also a lot faster and more aggressive. thanks a lot jeremy!

How much are the wires and how much to ship to Canada?

Also, I reviewed the pictures with the install instructions. I just wanted to confirm that there should be two wires attached to the battery negative terminal when done? The longest wire and the spliced wire with the two spades terminal?
