I'll be in the Dominican Republic... Please don't meet without me. It'll break my heart.

 

We don't have to create a meet of 40cars. If a couple of you ever want to just meet up somewhere, let me know. I hate big meets because whenever 20ppl confirm going, 5 show up. That's why I never participate really.

 

I just got back from there this week, Punta Cana! It was amazing... watch out for the bacteria there though... I was out of commission for almost two days...

other than that:
I am as well down to meet absolutely whenever and agree with others that we do not need the largest number to have one. There really aren't too many of us even here in the area so we will have to settle for a small get together and take pics to show how Chicago does it... I still am waiting to get my car back from A&L Autobody but they said it could be ready tomorrow. If I have my car, I would love to drive around wherever if others wanted to meet. I haven't had my car in 3 weeks so I miss her.

 

Bacteria in food? Where did you stay?

 

We stayed at the Dreams which is an amazing 5-star resort, but apparently most people get sick whether they drink the water or not, more of a Dominican thing from what we have now read... Most girls were ok but all of the guys got it pretty bad (we were there for a wedding so we knew some other people)... may have been the meat, I have no idea. Not something I would ever want to get again but some got it worse then others and some were fine... One guy we knew had to go to the hospital when he got back to the states and they told him it was a very common Dominican thing no matter where you go.

Haha aside from what seems like a big red flag of going there, it seriouisly was an amazing place and I had an unbelievable time there. I would definitely recommend it.

 

NICE! I'll be at the Dreams too. Got any recommendations on what to do? I'll be there for 5 days.

So I imagine it's kind of like Montezuma's revenge... I'm immune to that so I hope I'll be okay.

Lets meet in mid July. Nothing big. A hand full of peeps!

Sunday I cannot and I am sure a few of you cannot as well as there is the "Drive them in for the Cure" car show (were I will be) and there is the Chicago Z Wisconsin cruise, where I know a few others will be.

Let us know if this Saturday is a possibility.

 

Not good for me but don't base you decision on me. I am really busy these days. After my Vegas trip, I should be OK for a bit.

Just got back yesterday from my vacation. I didn't get sick from the food. I got sick from the sun. Fell asleep on the beach Saturday morning and woke up really burnt. SPF 30 does nothing! I've been uncomfortable with movement since. Work is going to suck tomorrow...

 

Saw a 2011 BO coupe on 90/94 yesterday on my way back out to A&L Autobody to get a few things corrected. Anyone on here? Nods exchanged.

Better late than never lol, but im located in Barrington close to schaumburg and woodfield mall. Does anyone know a good shop in the area that can install my hide away plate?
