Haha...thanks Josh, didn't know you were there. Did you drive your G? I saw Jared's I30 there and that black coupe next to me was my buddy's.
Also btw, I just got a private message from another fellow driver from down here in Roch, so he might be joining us for the meet too. I sent him a message with a couple links he should stay tuned with. Ben is up driving the 56 today, n I might have to set my sights hard on the new 37 after seeing this pic above....not to mention the new 37s are about as fast as my M currently :/
Enjoy the sunny afternoon 'cause it appears there will be rain the rest of the week.Joe

I think so but I'm not 100% right now. I'll let you guys know for sure in the next week or so. I'm actually going to schedule an appointment at AMS Performance down in Chicago today for an UpRev dyno tune. If I can get in before the C&C I'll prob have to come then.

Whats up Tom.. Welcome to the group.
Fellows, so I looked up my options for springs and here is what I found (let me know if i missed a brand/model) (see attached picture)
First off, as far as comfort, they're all about the same it seems like so i'm not really sure what to think about that
so any suggestions there would help.
For stance, the highlighted on (Tanabes DF210) seem to be the most drop. I'm not sure how low the 1.7" and 1.3" gonna be, so i'll have to grab a measuring tab to the wheel gap and get a feel that way (might be too low???). The other problem with those too is that its stated that they're for the 03-06 model and i have the 07 (which is technically the same thing but i need to double check that). I want that aggressive stance (front lower than rear) so the higher the "Front/Rear" ratio the more apparent this is gonna be. So considering the drop level and the stance, the S-Tech springs might be a good option but, based on numbers, they look alot stiffer than the H-Techs (which Peng is happy with)?!?! On the other hand, again based on numbers, they all seem to have the front alot stiffer than the rear which is the opposite from stock and what i would think should be (seems like the rear should be stiffer than the front especially on a rear wheel drive car?!) Sooooo, maybe, just maybe, they won't be too stiff since the rear are much softer than stock even though the fronts are stiffer than stock.
Also, does anyone have any idea what the weird rate values the Tanabes has? Seems like they're doing something of there own there, which based on that these number actually mean, their rears are stiffer than there fronts, which MAYBE makes the Tanabe DF210 or NF210 better options.
MAN I HATE CHOICES

I ll try and simplify this for u. The DF210 are too damn low and you will scrape everywhere. The NF210 are nice but will not give u the stance u want. The H-tech will give u a good drop n stance based on what I recall from Peng s ride. Eibach will give the desire raked stance while maintaining good ground clearance..Comfort level on the last 2 mentioned should be pretty close to stock that the added stiffness will not be an issue. You are now down to 2 choices
my vote is for Eibach pro kit because u just can't go wrong there. That's what I m swapping my fronts to and the A4 is getting it on all 4 corners.

Haha, I can still scrape on occasion with my Eibachs....even with the larger wheels! It's pretty retarded, but more cuz I'm either loaded down or certain bumps n stuff. Or its the sound of it bottoming out LOL, I'm not sure which one. I think I'm gonna get my tires swapped side to side n keep the negative camber for the meet. I'm freakin loving the ability its giving me!!
What's up fellas?! Come next week btw....my schedule for Honda will be just Monday through Friday, so I can start coming to more CnCs n events that are scheduled on Saturday or Sundays since I'll have an extra day that bbuy can schedule me :-D

... You mentioned that the Eibach pro kit will give me better stance than the NF210 (front of car is lower than the rear) yet the NF210 lowers the front almost double the rear where the Pro kit is about the same
Anyone have any experience with removing door panels? It almost looks to me like these are completely screwless, but before I start tugging on stuff, I want to be sure.
Maybe you guys can help me out a little too with this. Basically, I have a horrendous rattle that is coming from the door handle "hole" where you would grab and close the door. Basically you have the leather armrest, then the plastic insert (where your switched and stuff are) - then inside of the handle itself, there is another substance. It seems to have a rattle right where the plastic meets this other stuff (non-painted plastic?)
Any ideas on this? I'm thinking of just replacing the hole plastic piece anyways because I've got the easily scratched '07 surface, and I must be the proud owner of Freddie Kruegers car.
Hey Janik - where you getting your tint done? I want to check it out sometime. Do most places tint around the third brake light? I hate when you have dark tint, and this glaring brakelight that they leave hanging out in the untinted open. Seriously? You can't see it if it's behind some tint? Quit being lazy guys. lol Also - do the G's need moleskin like the TL's did? The TL was notorious for scratching tint without it.

Peng, your car looks great
