spacers
Really don't intend to drop it since I plan to drive it some next winter and ground clearance is already pretty limited. Better looking I have to agree. Maybe do 15 front and 20 rear. Project for next spring. Will continue to search threads. thanks.

For a mild drop with your car, you could easily go Tanabe's and you wouldn't run into any issues. Its not aggressive, it simply deletes some of the fugly wheel gap that comes stock. Not to mention, springs are cheap, easy to install, and no camber kits needed. Could get it dropped for less then $250, and it would completely change the look of your car.

spacers
Thanks for the input - also some good posts out there today on spacers and drops. Do the tanabes give a weird look - lower in the back - one of the posts mentioned that? How much to install do you think - who do you recommend locally? Maybe I'm overly concerned about snow plowing with a drop - I will drive only when condtions are suitable - no urgency to get out in heavy snow like we have had. Getting back to spacers - how hard is it to remove the studs and replace? Seems like the best alternative - I'm talking about diy here.

I saw your post for the guy who had lowered the front only - somebody said it would not have overall balance. Any other thoughts about doing that? I guess if it didn't work out, the rear could be dropped too.

I don't think it would throw off your balance or anything crazy like that. It s just not common practice to do just the front when you lower the car. if you really wanted to just do the front, I'll have my front springs available once I swap them out for eibachs. You can have mine for the low low. let me know.
