Help p101a MAF
p101a MAF
I am chasing a p101a MAF sensor problem on my 2011 g37. Car runs perfect, idles steady. Cant find any leaks, I've cleaned the throttle bodies, clean the MAP sensor, cleaned the MAF sensors. I was actually rather impressed everything was clean to begin with but I did my due diligence & cleaned it all. I can't imagine these sensors being bad & I don't want to just throw money at it. Dealer thinks the throttle bodies themselves need to be replaced. Is that a common solution? Is there anything else I should be looking for? Stumped on this. Car is very clean, low miles ECU was just updated.. Thanks in advance!
That's what they printed out but I agree I can't find that code anywhere in my google searches. Either way it's a MAS fault that I can't figure out. I can't imagine the throttle bodies being bad, I'd like to trouble shoot every last possible issue before buying a new set of those
P0101 is a valid code = Mass Air Flow Circuit Range/Performance
P101a is not but it could be a typo for p0101 A which could be MAF for bank A or bank 1
Dont know what your time range is and how long can you drive with the code however you should try to switch sensors from one side to the other to determine.
You can buy a Bluetooth OBD adapter and monitor the range of the MAF sensor and that will let you know if this is the culprit.
