New owner of a G37 - Looking for a good exhaust system.

Hi guys! I recently purchased an 09 G37 sedan, and so far it is amazing. I've already done a couple of interior and exterior modifications. I am looking for a good exhaust system (setup). The thing is I want something that sounds low but has a nice deep defined sound. Can you guys drop some setups down below? Thanks!

Welcome to the site, glad you're enjoying your Sedan
As far as exhausts, many options from a full catback like the ARK, Fast Intentions, Stillen, Invidia and a Y-back like the TopSpeed, and an axleback like the Tanabe Medallion. Ask 10 people and you'll get 10 opinions, searching this folder will give you a better idea.
FWIW I've been very happy w/ the TopSpeed Pro1, for the price~the sound and look have exceeded my expectations. If you consider the TopSpeed you must get the rolled/beveled tips, they have a straight tip version that doesn't look good.

Look at this poll >>> https://www.myg37.com/forums/intake-...te-inside.html it shows a lot of different exhaust setups. research them. I have fast intentions and I love them. low deep sound but sound amazing at high speeds.

ARK or Motordyne are my vote for the V36 Sedan.

Where do you live OP? Go out to car meet so you can hear different exhaust in person. Sounds clip NEVER do the sound justice.

All the exhaust systems mentioned above by "blnewt" are good options except the tanabe's don't waste your money on those because the stock exhaust is even louder, so quiet and annoying. I had tanabe exhaust for a month and I took it off and sold as soon as I could, couldn't stand how silent it was. I put the stock exhaust back on and it even sounds louder. Imo, if you wanna go cheap then Invidia or top speed, if you wanna go a lil expensive then fast intentions with 18" resonators, ordered mine early last month will be receiving it by mid March can't wait .

I don't understand how some people say Tanabe is "quieter" than stock. Perhaps because it is a deeper tone, and those people can't "hear" that frequency? Lol I'm half joking but that's the only thing I can think of.

My opinion, the Tanabe mufflers by themselves aren't THAT much louder than stock, but they sound a lot better and are louder. I'll be installing the y-pipe and mid-pipe soon (ordered), I'm sure that will help.
