Sedan Cold Air Intake
Sedan Cold Air Intake
I have an 09 sedan and I'm purchasing exhaust for my vehicle within this week..I also wanted to buy intake for the vehicle.
I've been told Takeda intake's but I've also heard they don't fit for the Sedans.
It also needs to be something that is Carb legal for CA I don't want to run into issues down the road when it comes to smog...

Takedas are now CARB legal in CA. They recently got certified and so long as you get a kit that's recent (meaning that it hasn't been sitting at a vendor for a couple years), it should have the CARB sticker you need for smog.
CARB E.O Number D-550-16: link to Takeda CAI on aFe's site with data
I've been going back and forth between the Stillen vs Takeda CAI as well but will probably settle on a Takeda because I like the look/ease of installation better...mainly the look.

It should get here Friday along with my Ark Exhaust

The newest version of the Takeda is Carb Legal.Trending Topics
ARK should get here today while I'm at work hoping to take it to get put on tomorrow..or some time this week.. Out of curiosity how much did the shop charge you to install yours?
Let me know how the install goes. I haven't pulled the triggered on the Takeda yet but I'm planning to pretty soon and may need some pointers since it looks like you'll get yours done before me.
Of course, I should get it tomorrow. Probably install it early morning Sunday on my day off. I'll PM you for sure.
