I'm going to take a stab at this even though I'm not sure what I was looking at. He probably screwed up one of the MAF sensors (or both), or got cleaning agent on the sensors.

yeah, when he cleaned it. he must have messed with butterfly position which can result in unstable rpm. tell him to perform the butterfly repositioning procedure.

if he disconnected the connector or any of the hoses while cleaning his idle is going to be messed up, and it will have to be reprogrammed. the procedure is in the FSM.i believe the procedure is the same for the 3.7 as well. its on page 16. the PDF is to big to attach, so if somebody wants to host it or if you need it i can email it to you. just PM me with your email.

I had an Infiniti I35, and a guy who didn't know what he was doing cleaned the throttle boddies for me. He sprayed something inside, wiped it a bit. Afterwards, it idled at 1,900 RPMs instead of 750 RPMs. I went to dealership, and they reprogrammed it for me - good as new. The tech said the throttle boddies are not meant to be cleaned this way on our cars.
