I know what you mean but I just love the way that hks sounds. I haven't heard of any other exhaust that has the hks low pitch growl.

That same link has been posted on my350z. 350z guys have been chopping up their hks exhausts for years because they've known this about the hi-power exhaust for a while now.

IDK it does not mean they are all built like that. I have seen issues with all different brands and as long as they still sound and look nice and also put down a little power, who cares what the inside of the pieces look like?

Because some of us paid for the most expensive exhaust for our car expecting high quality and good workmanship. The H pipe that sticks out will impede flow. Even if it will still make extra power, it is not the maximum power that the exhaust design would've given.

It is the same reason why buy legitimate, name brand products instead of imitations. The ironic thing in this case is that the imitation exhaust is actually of higher quality.

I call bull**** on this. Having the HKS myself, I know the welds are much better than that POS in the picture. I never cut it open, but a company like HKS doesn't get such a great reputation in the industry by putting out crap, which this so obviously is.

The one knock I do have on HKS though is that it is basically impossible to speak to anyone with any sort of product knowledge at all. The few times I have got an answer when I phoned it was just some bimbo who didn't know her *** from page 1.

Not going to say HKS products are junks, but I'm going to definitely say that HKS after service is horrible and almost doesn't exist.
