Hks Exhaust Fail!!!

I just saw this on a G35 forum. This is a picture of the hks G35 exhaust h pipe. Check out the fail welding. This can't be good for flow.

The G37 hks exhaust has a similar h pipe. Has anyone taken a close look inside?

Wow

That is crappy.

Good thing for our forum. A great way to stay informed and to keep manufacturers somewhat accountable.

I wouldn't buy a HKS after seeing that.

^ LOL...

I don't think thats real... Sorry, HKS has been in business for a long time and is one of the top names in the industry. WTF... This just doesn't seem believable to me.

That is genuine hks. In fact, the fake hks exhaust did a better job with the h pipe welding. You can read about all the details here:

A look inside of an HKS H-pipe- picture - G35Driver

The forum members emailed hks, to which they responded with a generic email saying they should send it in and hks will decide if it is warranty worthy.

So I just wanted to see if any of our hks owners took a look inside the h pipe. If our exhaust is like that too, then we should all start a complaint.

Not surprised. I was considering HKS exhaust for my G, until I had a 'less than desireable' experience with HKS USA regarding one of their products that I already purchased. That product will be the last HKS product I'll own.

Hks is so detached from their customer base it's not funny. You could comPlain all u want about the exhaust it won't change. There is way better exhaust you can buy for alot less.. Hks exhaust is a fail.their other products are good though..
