help: jwt pop charger filter replacment

hey guys
i bought a used pair of jwt pop chargers for relativley cheap cause the filters were very dirty and ripped. so i bought a replacment filter (i accidently ordered 1 and not 1 pair) from JWT G37 Pop Charger Element Filter Only 07+Sedan, 08+ Coupe - performance parts. i got the filter quick but it was allot bigger than the original filters that came with the intake. the filter fits on the intake and under the hood but barely. has anyone replaced their jwt pop charger filter on here OR does anyone know would the bigger filters work to my advantage or disadvantage??
thanks guys
any advice or tips would help! i need to see if i should order another filter or not so please help me out!
