Courtesy/step light replacement

i'm switching the bulbs for leds, problem I ran into once I have the light enclosure piece popped out and unplugged, I cant figure out how to pop the lens off the cover....i've tried prying and feel like I will break it.....how do you get it off???

If memory serves, once you get the light assembly out of the door the bulb should just twist and pop out. I don't remember prying anything to change the bulb.

This could also be true and I could be confusing it with my other car.

It should be very easy to just see what you need to do once you pop the light out.
