I want to do the same with my HKS. I believe you just need some metal polish and a lot of hard work.

hks answer

'Most abrasive cleaners will remove the Burnt Titanium finish on the titanium tips.

Titanium tips get the finish by using electromagnetic processes and the finish can be removed by using abrasive polishes. You would have to use a non abrasive cleaner (to prevent the finish from being removed). Polishes are not recommended (if you do not want to damage the blue finish).'

My words in parentheses.

I bought some metal polish but it was not very abrassive and I polished those things for an hour with no results at all, then I gave up. They were pretty shiny though.

burnt tips

Sounds like you need stronger stuff - my Megan ab won't be here until next Mon so I'll start working on it then. Let me know if you find something that works well.

I am thinking something more abbrassive and a polishing wheel for my drill should do it.
