I have not heard the new style X Pipe in person. I can only go off of what Staples has described.

How about 370z TDX system with RTP compared to Long tubes with TDX ctback sound wise. I'm just debating now on long tubes or RTP.

I think it sounded good. Still had the VQ sound in the video. I thought it might sound dramatically different.

This is what the new x-pipe matched with the resonated test pipe sounds like. Sorry I couldn't get a longer video, there were patches of black ice in the parking lot as it was 25 degrees out.
