18" is possible, most Z customers took the 18" option. The x-pipe from the Z catback is probably similar in design and Tony said the new x-pipe for the G is already available.

I have the new x-pipe with 12 inch resonators. 18" is for vaginas!

You are wrong. Seeing I ordered it yesterday and Tony said he has only done 12's. Actually he said he has only made one x-pipe for a G.

You should be able to fit 18" resonators on the x-pipe. My 12" resonators totally clear the heat shields without any issues.

Honestly, if you were to do the long tube headers I would recommend the 18" option. That would keep rasp down by a lot and the car would still be daily drivable.

That's good news. I ordered the 18's but like I said Tony didn't know if they will fit so 12's were the only option for right now.

Technically I have 8 if you count the flex pipes (they do cut down rasp somewhat).

To All-

I want to first apologize for not posting in this thread sooner. I am very overwhelmed with work right now and a majority of it has to do with the 370Z. I need you to all understand that you are just as important and vital to us as the 370 crowd. After all, you all came along first and have been very loyal thus far!

I want to take this opportunity to give you all an update as to where we are with this header project.

As of right now, it is confirmed that our long tube headers fit on a 370Z. After the first of the year, (2010) I have a G37 coming in for a test fit. I have ssen just as much interest on this forum as the 370 forum and we do plan on making them for your car. If they are not compatible with the 370 headers, we will make them fit your car. We WILL NOT leave you all out in the cold.

I have already taken pre orders on your the G37 end from:

IvoryG
G37Sam
Shumby

If anyone is interested please PM me and we can work out the details...

Thank you,

Tony
