Plus the power band in every dyno out there shows this intake being better suited for midrange. I wouldn't change it...unless there's a R2C Version 2.0 to be released.
Did you get a tune?

I like it, sounds like a beefy muscle car after 3.5k

Just got my black nickle chrome R2C....oh myyyy gooooddd!!! Talk about how clean and shiny this thing is and understatement. Eye popping!!! Made me late for work b/c of install but i couldn't wait...I’ll take 20mins late any day. But let me tell you...on the way it was mind blowing experience...my car was a different ANIMAL!!!!! First thing i noticed was the responsiveness of the acceleration. Definitely improved. Almost no lag. Well it sounds the same when I was in first gear…and switch gear about 3.5K to 2nd like normal(manual btw) and in third gear I give it gas all the way to 6k and for the first time hearing that monster under the hood was mind blowing…no lie I instantly had a big *** grin ear to ear. And that was on the regular street…when I hit the belt parkway heading for JFK I was testing out and comparing to the same style I normally drive and while driving I notice that I was in 4th gear 6.5k and was doing 110mph :0) wtf was my reacting b/c normally I would be about 80mph in 4ht @ 6.5k…so yeah it definitely makes a difference and worth it. Looks absolutely amazing in the engine bay and easy to install and maintain. Installation note…passenger side do not use the hose provided by R2C…just save it…reuse the factory and turn the bend/curve part inside to clear surrounding. I actually put the hose on provide by R2C and wasn’t able to pull or twist it off once it was in….had to cut with shears and peal it off. Love tools that makes anything seeming less :0)
I love that from 6k to 7k, 7.5k it growls a special engine note which you have to experience…it’s just freaking ridiculous. True power and beast.

So I definitely recommend this intake hands down. For looks, maintenance, big improved acceleration response, able to drive as normal before going over 3.5K, but once over that RPM range it’s a different animal….and bonus awaits you after 6K RPM!!!
