injen sri rather than stillen g3??

I just went to local shop for stillen g3, and he recommended to get a injen short ram intakes. He said that stillen g3 can be easily heated, so my car will lose some power and he recommended to get a short ram intake.
is it ture? i always believe stillen g3 is best intake for g37.

i think your "shop" doesn't make much money off the stillen products. They probably have a deep buy in with injen

Cool

I think that the OP's shop doesn't drink the Stillen KoolAid. They may have even looked at other dyno charts, like the one below. It shows a short ram outperforming the Gen-3. Remember that "common sense" thinking, like the often heard "you have to suck cool air from outside the engine compartment to make power", may not stand up to scientific scrutiny. I have actually measured temperatures under the hood where a short intake draws air, and guess what? When the car was moving those underhood temperatures were virtually the same as ambient.

I don't know which intake makes more power, but I've been around the speed business long enough that I don't take everything a speed part maker says at face value. I do research and make up my own mind. I may not always make the "best" choice, but I then don't drink the KoolAid either.
