I can actually vouch for R2c and their dyno results. They don't have their own dyno, so they use local shops that otherwise, have no connection to them in any way.

The kinks on the rubber stripping is quite tacky and looks like it would tear at some point. The tubing looks nice though.

I've had my R2C intakes on my car since December. I've had no problems with them and I'm quite pleased with them. They look as new as they did the day I got them.

efuseakay your saying that dyno was done on the same car same day stillen vs R2C ??

SO THAT MEANS the R2C is BETTER than the STILLEN G3 in terms of power?? right

i find that hard to believe but im not complaining lol

No that was just the dyno of the Stillen Gen 3. I haven't gone back with the R2c yet. I will in another week or two. I want to drive these around and get some real-world experience before getting final numbers.

As it stands, I will most likely have my Gen 3's for sale regardless. The fitment just wasn't that great... my A/C lines (which were wrapped with extra hose) still found a way to get scratched up. And that was just after a month or so. Plus, the R2c system does have more lower end torque.

But final numbers will come eventually. They should be pretty similar though, with the R2c having an advantage with low-end torque.

Alright... finally had some extended highway time with the R2cs... 2 days and some 50+ miles after installing them, so I know the ECU has adjusted already.

All I can say is, regardless of the numbers, I am keeping these and selling the Gen 3s... but I still want to wait until after another dyno session.

I'm not one to brag about my butt-dyno sensitivity at all... but I reeeeally like these.

I'll find out soon enough if my butt needs to be calibrated.

That sounds promising and make me lean more toward the R2; anxious to see the dyno. Did you notice any loss anywhere along the powerband?

Can a butt-dyno be calibrated, I'll have to check google. lol.

Thanks for keeping us updated.

No loss anywhere that I've been able to feel. More responsive pretty much all throughout the RPM range... at least on my setup.

I'll call around and see if anyone can calibrate my ****. lol

If you don't mind, what other mods do you have installed?

I asked my wife, she can calibrate my butt-dyno with her foot.

Thanks,
Allan

Does anyone have the R2C intakes installed with no other mods? Have you experienced any losses?

I am considering the R2Cs with no other mods. Thanks.

If anything, at the very worst, it will be the same, but louder.

But if you start with one mod, others will follow. Believe me. lol

You're right, I say that with every car and yet I can't resist modding. I may do the exhaust, but I will stay away from the cats and headers.

Thanks again, still looking forward to your results.

Take care,
Allan

Installed mine over the weekend, no dyno, but butt dyno it feels faster. it is definitely WAY louder.
