how to clean injen filters?

hey guys,

i was wondering, how do i clean the injen filters? is it safe to do so?

use a K&N recharge kit. just take out the filter from the wheel well and use the kit. that's what i did.

lol i'll do it for you if you want... but i doubt you'll have enough miles to even consider cleaning it when you go to houston, i was told clean every 10 k miles, but i cleaned mine at 8k and it was dirty as hell

buy the recharge kit...

always wash the filter from INSIDE OUT!!! that way it pushes the debris out of the filter material....never blow dry either, always air dry....

nah man, but if you can show me hhow to open the wheel well all the way then i can do my self every now and then
